The American Journal of Respiratory Medicine (RAMR) is the official publication of the Argentine Association of Respiratory Medicine (AAMR), the Uruguayan Society of Thoracic Diseases and Pathology, the Paraguayan Society of Pulmonology, the Venezuelan Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery, the Bolivian Society of Pulmonology, and the Ecuadorian Society of Pulmonology. It was founded in 2001 as a publication that accepts and disseminates clinical and experimental medical work related to respiratory, intensive, and sleep medicine. Its content includes original articles, special articles, case studies, seminars, images, editorials, and bibliographic reviews, among others.
Aimed at the broad community of pulmonologists and therapists throughout Latin America, the journal is currently the largest disseminator in the field of respiratory medicine in Argentina.
