Correspondencia :

Dear community of the American Review of Respiratory Medicine:

It is an honor to address you as the new Editor-in-Chief of this prestigious scientific publication. I assume this role with deep gratitude, enthusiasm, responsibility, and commitment. I am aware of the great progress made by those who preceded me and the commitment involved in continuing to strengthen this space for knowledge, reflection, and growth for Argentine and regional pulmonology.

Throughout my professional career, I have participated in multiple research projects and scientific publications, and I know the value of having a journal such as the RAMR to highlight the work we do in clinical practice, teaching, and research.

Since its inception, the American Review of Respiratory Medicine has been a fundamental tool for the dissemination of scientific knowledge in our specialty. My goal will be to maintain and, for the most part, enhance its editorial quality, international visibility, and clinical and academic relevance achieved to date by Dr. Juan Antonio Mazzei, with responsibility, openness, and a vision for the future.

To achieve this, the collaborative work of the entire Editorial Committee, reviewers, authors, and, of course, all the readers who choose it issue after issue will be crucial.

In this new stage, we will seek to continue promoting original research, critical analysis, and continuous training, while also opening space for new voices, interdisciplinary perspectives, and emerging challenges in respiratory medicine.

We firmly believe in including scientific societies that lack a publication outlet and/or wish to participate in collaborative studies in our journal.

The integration and participation of professionals in training and, above all, of the AAMR Youth, are essential. They should feel that this journal also belongs to them, that it is a space where they can write, share, learn, and grow. We will work actively to encourage their participation and accompany them on the path of scientific writing.

I am convinced that the RAMR has enormous potential to continue growing as a leading scientific publication. I hope we can walk this path together, with the commitment, excellence, and passion that unite us as a community.

I invite the entire community to continue building together an increasingly solid and inclusive journal that represents Argentine respiratory work.

Thank you very much for your trust.
